My TORTURED ORCHARD’s SPICED PINEAPPLE ZINGER Chicken Recipe

  Posted on   by   3 comments

I had a ‘happy accident’ moment with this wonderful spicy fruit
sauce by TORTURED ORCHARD, http://torturedorchard.com/.   I had some chicken pieces to cook one evening and wanted to do something different with them because we all are always looking for new ways to cook chicken, aren’t we?

I was reading the labels of the TORTURED ORCHARD sauces I
have and thought how great a spiced pineapple flavor would work with
chicken.  So I opened up the jar of SPICED PINEAPPLE ZINGER and had a taste.
Yummy!   I’ll have another.  Yummier! It just keeps getting better; maybe I’ll just eat this with a spoon.  I then realized that this
particular sauce was more a chutney or salsa than a marinade as I was thinking
it was (guess I didn’t read the label that well!), but too late, I have my oven
heated and naked chicken ready to be cooked.

So, here we go with my new, very simple chicken recipe full
of great flavor from one healthy, spicy, fruity TORTURED ORCHARD sauce.

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

Spray with non-stick spray and add chicken pieces.

Season chicken with salt and pepper, then top each piece with
one tablespoon of TORUTRED ORCHARD’s SPICED PINEAPPLE ZINGER.

Bake for 45 minutes, turning at 30 minutes.

Serve with more SPICED PINEAPPLE ZINGER on the side and a
green salad.

I loved it and received very positive feedback from my
client that I made it for.

I will definitely make this chicken again but will also use
the SPICED PINEAPPLE ZINGER with cheese platters and on baked brie (can’t wait to
try that!).

All the best foods come from good honest experiments! Wish I was there sharing that with you looks yummy! Did they say if there’s any chance they’ll be exporting the sauces to Australia?

I’ll ask them about shipping to Australia.

They may actually have that info on their website, http://torturedorchard.com/.
